Charlie is a well-to-do jingle-writing bachelor with a house at the beach in Malibu, a luxury car in the garage, and an easy way with women. His casual lifestyle is interrupted when his tightly wound chiropractor brother Alan, who's facing a divorce, and his son Jake, come to live with him.
