Program Summary for Sanctuary
Sanctuary, the first broadcast quality Sci-Fi series to migrate from the Internet to network (cable) television, and the first TV series to be recorded by a digital RED camera using green screen technology on almost every shot, stars Stargate SG-1 veteran Amanda Tapping as Dr. Helen Magnus. Dr. Magnus heads a global network of Sanctuaries for supernatural creatures, or as she likes to call them, Abnormals - which she retrieves from all over the world. Having injected a serum she created from pure, ancient vampire blood, Magnus and a small group of colleagues have come to possess special, paranormal abilities, or "powers" - hers being extreme longevity. Helen Magnus is a very beautiful and very well-preserved 158-years-old. In her work, she is backed by a team of talented specialists : her daughter Ashley (Emilie Ullerup), trained in weapons and combat; Henry Foss (Ryan Robbins), a techno wizard, geek and part-time werewolf; the Big Guy (Christopher Heyerdahl), a gentle giant who also happens to be an intelligent, well-refined member of the Sasquatch branch of the hominid family. Heyerdahl also plays John Druitt - sometime friend and sometime foe, a teleporter who just happens to be Ashley's father - and Jack the Ripper. Dr. Will Zimmerman (Robin Dunne) completes the team. Will, a young forensic psychiatrist who recently died and came back from the dead in Kali (3), has become Magnus' trusted confidant and protégé. Unfortunately, Ashley was lost to the void at the beginning of Season Two and may or may not ever return.

Episode Summary:
So.. as expected, something big for season ending and the story just starts to grow. I really think the story was good.. it had some brilliant twist, many different lines, switching between them and all that. I loved Magnus going all those places, trying to figure out but I do not know.. something bothered me. Last season's final was very exciting, high stakes. Stakes were high here too, but the excitement... Maybe it was too guessable what was going to happen and the whole thing with Will.. No means, it was not bad but.. I most say, that it had some really interesting developments, specially the one that mean they were guessing Magnus authority and that looks like storyline what is going to develop and will get them a lot of trouble. So.. I think it had some great building for season end, some great building in long term and as always.. a stunning visual side.. That just makes it all so amazing.

Episode Summary:
Wow. What a wonderful two hour finale to this season. The episode would have scored a 10 from me if not for the fact that it is a cliffhanger to be solved (hopefully) at the beginning of next season. I mean really, two hours and still a "too be continued"?!? The Herald of Kali lives about two hundred years and usually dies when the small parasite leaves the body. What will happen with Will now that the creature has left his body and he is not at risk of dying from its natural destruction of its habitat?

It is obvious from the story that Kali is a very powerful creature with almost no predators including man. The people who usurped Magnus should know better than that at this point as she has lived longer than two of their lifetimes and always makes decisions that are the best for everyone human or abnormal. She started the Sanctuary system and this is all about power. Who else thinks causing a void in the natural system of the level of killing Kali could really be a good thing? Nature teaches us many things. Something that powerful will leave a huge void. We should listen to the lessons of nature every once in a while.

So I'm not going to say to much more about this episode. We'll have to wait about nine months at least if Syfy keeps to form as they are running these series from about ten to fifteen episodes at the most a season. Great tension and an explosive finish. One episode that should be seen for sure before the beginning of next season. Should be a lot of fun to see the ending. Unfortunately we'll have to wait for almost three quarters of a year to see it. See you then! Thanks for reading...
