Program Summary for Family Guy
Sick, twisted, politically incorrect and freakin' sweet. The animated series features the adventures of the Griffin family. Peter and Lois have three kids - the youngest is a brilliant, sadistic baby bent on killing his mother and world domination. Chris, like his father, is obese, has a low IQ and no common sense. Meg desperately tries to be part of the popular crowd, and is coldly rebuffed. Their talking dog Brian keeps baby Stewie in check while sipping martinis and sorting out his own life issues. After being canceled in 2002, having an outstanding performance in DVD sales and syndication ratings that beat late-night talk shows, its cult status reached great heights. As a result, the series was added back to the FOX Summer 2005 line-up. Family Guy returned to the small screen with new episodes on Sunday, May 1st, 2005. A DVD Movie was released in September of 2005. Family Guy has won 3 Emmy awards and 3 Annie awards.

Episode Summary:
This episode was just okay, there were some parts that I laughed hysterically, mostly on Peter's parts. The hing that annoyed me about this episode, was that I felt like they have done this before. Well they might have not, but it's the same formula every time. Brian gets a new girlfriend, the family don't approve, make fun of the girl, then they break up, get back together again, and eventually break up. This was the same thing, except it was an old woman. I like Peter's kicking obsession which got Brian in to this whole mess, and I also laughed really hard when Brian yelled at the old lady at the end of the episode. How he didn't understand what she was saying. Hilarious! An average episode.

Family Guy Presents: Seth and Alex's Almost Live Comedy Show
Original Air Date:
November 8th 2009 (Sunday)
Original Air Time:
9:00 PM (ET)
Episode ID:
0Sx04 -- Series Special
Program Network:
30 min
Episode Summary:
I'm an absolute fan of Family Guy & I even was one of the people clammering to the show back on the air when it was cancelled. So I must say that I was terribly disappointed with The Seth & Alex's Almost live Comedy show.

They used the laugh track too much, things that weren't funny were getting a fake audience laugh repeatedly. There were alot of awkward pauses, & looks as if someone forgot their cue. Seth MacFarlane has a great voice & did not need to sing in his characters voices. There were brief shots of the audience which tells me they didn't find most of the show funny either. Marlee Matlin's appearance to get Alex back for making fun of her was funny, but went on for too long, thus losing some of the humor in it. With all the hype this show received I was expecting it to be much much better than it was.
