Episode Summary: | The sixteenth episode of Secret Life's third season was a bit of a let down in my eyes but we got a few scenes that really salvaged the episode. I never really liked the Jack & Grace pairing, but they got the best scenes tonight, and I'm glad Megan Park is getting some actual legitimate story lines, unlike how it's been as of late.
The Jack & Grace scenes I'm sure got us all nostalgic and reminded us of their relationship from earlier in the series, and by the looks of next week, things will be no different when Ben & Amy share some scenes together.
So as predicted, Ricky doesn't have an STD, that was a bit predictable, his scenes with his mother really annoyed me though. I guess I just really don't like the actress who plays Nora, just can't help but roll my eyes when she's on my television screen. The same goes for Madison & Lauren who both got way too much screen time tonight.
At least Amy, Madison, and Lauren are actually being civil toward each other. I'm not really buying this whole Grace & Grant relationship, so anything with them bugs me as well. I'm loving the new counselor and she got some really good scenes with Ashley tonight as well. Overall, solid installment, still needs to work out a few kinks though (like the sudden obsession Ben has of marrying the first girl he sees). |

Episode Summary: | Can Nora be written off the show please? Honestly, she's one of the most annoying characters on this show. It's mostly the actress, I just really can't stand her. My only complaint aside, this was a good episode of The Secret Life.
Yes we did get the usual annoyances, but it was still good regardless. The proposal was surprisingly heartwarming. 3 years ago, I really didn't think Ben & Adrian would end up here, looking forward to see how this engagement plays out.
The Ricky & Amy relationship is at a stand still right now, and in a way, that's a good thing, but the constant talk about whether or not Amy's ready to have sex is really starting to bug me. Hey, at least Lauren & Madison were absent. Grace should have gotten more screen time, in my opinion, she's a pivotal character in the series. Good episode overall, with a heartwarming ending. |
