There was a lot of interesting discussion, despite the fact that there really was nothing on the news. I guess Bill Maher hit the nail on the head when he said that there were "no new wars this week."
New Rules was funny as it usually is, but I think that the show needs a big name, at least one, to keep the panel as exciting as possible. The RNC rep instigated Bill a little bit, but then he embarrassed himself when he said that there were still forces in Libya, when there are not. |

Episode Summary: | Another very entertaining episode of Real Time with Bill Maher. While it is quite fashionable to take a shot at Charlie Sheen these days, Maher used his now famous, "I already got your money, dude," comment as a metaphor for how the rich are scamming the poor in this country.
Sully Sullenberger's trip and landing is overrated, but this was still a nice interview. And the panel was good tonight. Andrew Sullivan is very biased, but he always brings his game for the show, and Eliot Spitzer, despite all the criticism he has received over the years, is usually good too. Colin Quinn added some laughs to the panel when he joined it.
Good episode all in all. I liked how Bill mocked how often HBO replays the show too. |
