The TV Calendar
Program Summary for Family Guy
Sick, twisted, politically incorrect and freakin' sweet. The animated series features the adventures of the Griffin family. Peter and Lois have three kids - the youngest is a brilliant, sadistic baby bent on killing his mother and world domination. Chris, like his father, is obese, has a low IQ and no common sense. Meg desperately tries to be part of the popular crowd, and is coldly rebuffed. Their talking dog Brian keeps baby Stewie in check while sipping martinis and sorting out his own life issues. After being canceled in 2002, having an outstanding performance in DVD sales and syndication ratings that beat late-night talk shows, its cult status reached great heights. As a result, the series was added back to the FOX Summer 2005 line-up. Family Guy returned to the small screen with new episodes on Sunday, May 1st, 2005. A DVD Movie was released in September of 2005. Family Guy has won 3 Emmy awards and 3 Annie awards.

Episode Summary:
Brian sells Rupert at a garage sale. Stewie, who is upset with Brian, takes him cross country to Colorado to find his beloved teddy, and ends up having a ski-off to win back Rupert. Meanwhile, Peter loses his license, so Meg has to drive him around. I enjoyed the Zule scene, even though I didn't see it, my friend told me about it. I liked the Mayor West scene, and when Stewie had those cool skis. Haha they set Meg's hat on fire and she beat the guy up. I usually don't like these journey episodes, but this one was enjoyable. Pretty good.

Episode Summary:
This episode was funny, everytime i either laugh out loud or chuckle, this is a great episode, many funny cut scenes and jokes. for example the v8 joke, when chris starts singing a duet with herbert the pervet. I laughed for so long. Also when peter starts smoking crack "goverment came and took my baby". Also when they're in ireland, there is a sheep that looks like brian and the subtitles for slurred speech. Finally the song My Druken Irish Dad was good as well, i know most of the lyrics by heart funny song, especially when they hit the tap dancers with chairs. Stewie's subplot was also funny "Thank You, Thank you" when Lois burns him with a cigarette. That was a cut scene. Anway very funny. Adios, Vamp.

Episode Summary:
The most obvious thing that will pop out to people about this episode is the hilarious use of role reversal. Bullying is an issue for young kids and cancer most of the time concerns old people, yet Stewie is the one dealing with the possibility of cancer and it's Peter that has bullying issues. This creates for a lot of knee slapping jokes and situations, such as when Peter beats up the bully and hides from Louis in the trees, or when Stewie gets arrogant and poses like he is a model when tanning. There are just so many hilarious jokes and scenes that crack you up.

Episode Summary:
After seeing a redneck comedy show, Peter purchases a pickup truck and decides to become a redneck. He does such "typical" redneck things as bringing the couch out onto the lawn, propositioning Meg, and chewing tobacco. Eventually, after having to bring Quagmire to the airport (Because Peter painted over the back window and crashed into Quagmire's car), Peter steals Quagmire's plane's fuel (thinking it will make his truck fly), causing TransNational Airlines Flight 37 to crash. Quagmire loses his job, and lives for three weeks with the Griffins, first in the tree-house, and then in the house. During this, he exhibits his typical sex fetishes, such as sticking his foot into Meg's mouth while she's sleeping. After living with them for a month, Quagmire has overstayed his welcome, so Peter tries to help Quagmire get a new job. They have very little success, so Peter, Cleveland and Joe decide to attempt a hare-brained scheme to get Quagmire's old job back: Quagmire would board TransNational Airlines Flight 209, while Peter and Joe take flight attendant uniforms while Cleveland distracts the guards. When they are in the air, Peter will drug the pilots so Quagmire would save the day. However, Quagmire is distracted when he has sex with a woman, not only losing his flight and chance, but putting his friends in extreme danger. Inspirational advice from Hugh Hefner then prompts Quagmire to save the day. He tells his friends on how to land the plane, similar to Airplane!. Safe, the guys finish the Last Holiday after landing the plane. In the end, Quagmire gets his job back, while Peter, Joe, and Cleveland have just been released from federal prison for hijacking.

Bill and Peter's Bogus Journey

Original Air Time:
9:00 PM (ET)
Episode ID:
05x13 -- Season: 5, Episode: 13
Program Network:

Episode Summary:
I've seen strange things in my life. I've seen the Twin Towers fall on T.V., I've seen a guy stuff a whole slice of apple pie up his mouth without taking a single bite, and the past eight years in the U.S.A. are probably going to go down as the most bizarre years the world's ever known! But I find it really strange there are people who consider this a bad episode because of the gags and plots. This is "Family Guy" we're talking about! It's not Supposed to be taken seriously! The humor is tongue-in-cheek, and since it's random, you never know what's going to happen! One evening, Peter Griffin throws out his back trying to lift up a limo. Bill Clinton visits him in the hospital because it was His car Peter was trying to lift! Bill offers to make it up by hanging out with him and doing a bunch of fun stuff! One of those things is going to Chuck E. Cheese's! :D Who wouldn't have fun there? But the fun times become weird when Bill and Peter smoke Pot and they think just because Bill Clinton is a former President, they can eat any pig they want. Lois finds out about Peter's antics, but doesn't place any real blame on him. She thinks if it wasn't for Bill, Peter wouldn't even be acting the way he is. So she confronts Bill, but ends up getting shocked and awed when Bill effortlessly manages to con Lois into making out, and Peter is shocked to walk in on them doing it! Lois doesn't want to lose Peter, so she says he can make out with anyone he wants to in order to be on even ground. Peter's weird choice ends up being Lois' own mother, Babs! Surprisingly, Babs doesn't mind doing that at all! But Peter can't go through with it because he loves Lois to much to cheat on her, so he runs down the stairs naked to tell her, and Lois' dad sees Peter naked and doesn't even care! That's funny! Enough said! ;)

Episode Summary:
Peter is annoyed by Mort constantly borrowing his things, so he makes a "Scare-jew" out of his best suit, which is actually a scarecrow modeled after Adolf Hitler Frustrated, Lois takes him to a secondhand clothing store to get a new suit, where Peter finds some flannel pajamas. While wearing them, he begins to notice that he can shock people with static electricity by rubbing his feet on the carpet. Annoyed by this, Lois has the carpet completely removed. When this is done Quagmire finds an old coin under the carpet, which is sold for fifty thousand dollars (the carpets later return). With the money, Peter and Lois decide to live their dream of owning their own restaurant, naming it "Big Pete's House of Munch". The restaurant at first is a complete failure; however, Joe promises to bring his friends. Peter is at first excited because he believes it will become a hang out for police officers, only to find that Joe is actually bringing in fellow paraplegics. The restaurant becomes a huge success among handicapped people; however, Peter is convinced handicapped people are "uncool" (citing Mark Harmon as "the greatest actor who ever lived" and as he is not handicapped, that makes it uncool to be) and he bans them from entering. The handicapped people come back and demand access, but are promptly denied. In response, they unite into "CrippleTron" (a giant robot reminiscent of Voltron) and destroy the restaurant while Peter, Chris and Stewie are on the roof. Stewie eventually takes matters into his own hands and defeats the cripples, but they accidentally knock down rubble which fall on Peter, breaking his legs. He is wheelchair bound for two weeks, though it takes forty-five minutes for Peter to realize the difficulty of being handicapped and he apologizes to Joe.

Episode Summary:
It's hard to find anything wrong with this episode, it just isn't as funny or original as the show ussualy is. Basicly they go to texas, offending people along the way (and no doubt some viewers as well). However its just family guy by numbers, I felt it was too obvious and too much of 'family guy by numbers'. This is probably in the top 5 weakest episodes from this series but considering it is still a watchable episode then that suggests just how good this series is. So therefore by no means a classic but still pretty funny, just a bit too obvious.

I found this episode of Family Guy to be one of my favorites. I like how it shows what Joe did before he was a parapalegic. Also, the things they do in this episode was hilarious. When Joe was trying to get Peter, Clevelend, and Quagmire to sing the song with him and Stewie comes out and finished the line. Plus, when Joe kept saying "no fear in this dojoe", lol. I thought this whole episode was hilarious. When Cleveland fell because he was rock climbing with Joe and Spider-Mand saves him. It was so random and funny i couldnt stop laughing.

So Stewie finally does away with that vile woman, and none too soon because its Family Guy 100th.
Best bits: Brian showing everyone up by purchasing Lois a cruise ticket; Brian's subsequent humiliation when Lois asks Peter to join her; Peter and the poop deck; Peter telling the captain of Lois' abortion of Meg (which obviously failed); Brian teasing Stewie of his failed world domination plans; Stewie actually violently killing Lois; Joe pretending to be Lois to please Chris; Stewie's head revolving around when talking to Brian; the whole courtroom scene with the Cool-Aid guy, a reference to episode one of season one (can everyone stop saying Oh no?) and the cliffhanger ending - but how did she live?

When I first saw this episode it was sad to watch. I mean what in the world was Seth MacFarlane thinking. It was nice to go through memorie line of past Family Guy episodes. But what was he thinking when he put people to say what they thought about Family Guy? On one who was interviewed liked Family Guy. This episode only gave us an idea of why episode was cancelled and why it should be cancelled again. This episode was not even funny at all. If Seth MacFarlane wants Family Guy to stay on TV, Then he better come up with better episodes then this.

Well, I thought this episode wounldn't be that good, but I was wrong. Lois entering the courthouse the last episode, set up the rest of the plot. Lois kicked butt, the third time we see her fight someone. Stewie beeing evil enough to shoot and kill clexlandm and American Dad crossover, that was the best part. I was a little shock that from Peter's first mistake on the ship, the rest of their trip when on smoothyly, when Stewie was in the simulation. Bottom line, best wpisode of season 6, and just like that show, they cut black at midsent-.

Episode Summary:
This episode is one of those that probably doesn't have the greatest of storylines or plots, but still, it makes you laugh so much that you can't rate it anything other than a 9.5!

The most laughable thing is, in a flood, which biased father would send his only daughter and eldest child to retrieve a six-pack of beer from the fridge?

The answer, Peter Griffin!

That is just so crazy! I just loved this episode, mainly the beginning of it. Absolutely hilarious. These are the kinds of things that Peter does (or makes others do) that just makes you love him!

To sum it up in one word, "Hilarious!"

Peter's identity was stolen! OMG! OMG! Oh MY GOD! Yeah, dun dun dun..... That was a real crisis. *sigh* Just kidding, that is a very serious problem. :P But seriously, you're supposed to be worried about that. No, I am NOT kidding about this! It was a great episode!

This episode wasn't that good. Only a few of the jokes were funny, and the ending was awful! having some random sing along. Why is there a sing along in every episode, even when Seth McFarland goes out of his way to add them. Its annoying and stupid! I hope this pointless episode solved one problem the show has been having, i hope it stopped the Brian and Lois jokes. Yeah, we got it a long time ago, come up with a new running gag please. The only really good part of this episode was the fight between Peter and Brian and that was kind of quick.

Episode Summary:
This is one of my favorite episodes in Season 7. A story, in which, it might keep the sweetness of it all in 30 minuets. I mean, look! Brian, after failing in love life, remembers his high school girlfriend Tracy, then finds out he has a son. When Brian and his son dosen't pull off immediantly, they do pot and became bonded and , well, look! How much is it to change a bad boy to a nice one that respects his father? And it only matters that is made me shed a tear.

But, there are some funny times. Like, how could Brian have a son if he's 7 and his son is 13. Or, at the hints of clues that Stewie is growing into a homo Or even when Meg was forced to watch Monty Python! Now, I hope you like this episode as much as I like it myself.

I don't know why this episode got a 7.6 it deserved higher points. This episode was well writen. In the costume party sence Brian was dressed as Snoopy doing the Snoopy dance it was so funny. Peter dressed as Laura bush was funny because he looked more like Mrs.Garret from The Facts of Life. The part when Brian was on the bike for two with a rose in his mouth was so cute. I really liked this episode very much. I feel bad for Brian I wish he would find his true love and settle down; maybe get back with Jillian.

Episode Summary:
Oh well the bird bird bird - b-bird's the word! Oh well the bird bird bird - b-bird's the word!

"I Dream Of Jesus" is a mixed bag episode.

The first half of the episode is very funny (though it becomes taxing after a certain point) when Peter drives everyone nuts with his obsession over the 1960s song "Surfin' Bird" and Brian & Stewie's destruction of "Surfin' Bird" album in an Office Space fashion was a clever spoof.

But the episode spirals down into mediocrity once Family Guy once again plays the politics and religion card in their stupid and degrading depiction of Jesus and subsequent sophomoric political commentary.

Well, the episode started off funny enough - only to end in a burning heap of a train wreck.

I loved when it said what the elephant sounds like, and Stewie said "Oh yeah, kinda." I really loved the part when Stewie was messing with Hitler LOL! That was such a great part. I loved when Stewie spit is Hitler's face! I laughed so hard! Another really great part was when the Nazis were chasing Mort, Stewie and Brian and they fell in poop! That was really funny. So yeah, this episode was great and a really funny one! Another thing that I found funny was when Quagmire was taping Meg going to the bathroom and also the part when Mort asked Stewie and Brian if he could poop in Stewie's room and they both said "No!" and Mort says "Too late." Loved this episode!

I really liked this episode. I loved the scene where they all sing in the car. It was excellent. I was really impressed. Plus, this was a good Home Alone parody. I liked when Cleveland and Quagmire were held captive in the basement, even though the television thing was getting annoying. Stewie's soda thing was kinda annoying, though. I wanted him to run into the refrigerator door. Anyway, it was a very good episode. :)

Episode Summary:
This was a really funny episode. It wasn't completely laugh out loud but it was hilarious. I did have few grievances with this episode. One for example is that Brian leaves, again for like the third time this season. That, like Brian expressing his beliefs about religious, political, or whatever kind of issue, is why Brian has become an annoying character, to me at least.. It's not a major leave but still, seriously! I did love the parody at the beginning and it was a fun way to set up for the main plot. In one sentence, recommended but Brian is getting frustrating to watch in my opinion.

Oh my goodness. This episode is amazing! Lois gets a job working for FOX news, and while she's gone, Peter decides to work with Chris and Meg on a cartoon. I liked when Peter kept leaving the room and talked about Meg to Chris and said, "She has B.O.!" really loud. Haha! I loved when Peter brought up "B**ch Duck." OMG that was hilarious! It was by far the best part of the whole episode, although it's only 9:20. The plot for this episode was good, and definitely well developed. This is yet another awesome episode of this show. I hope Family Guy lasts at least 10 seasons. It definitely deserves it.

Meg becomes extremely religious, and tries to convert Brian from Atheism. Meanwhile, after the family visits a Star Trek convention, Stewie kidnaps the entire cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation and forces them to hang out with him.

Im greatly disappointed with this episode. Especially Brian's character because his 2 reasons for being atheist are 1) the Hubble Space Telescope never has taken a picture of God. 2) Life isn't perfect. For someone who is the voice of reason on the show those were two horrible reasons why God doesnt exist. IMO this ruined Brian's character as the only sensible one on the show. He just totally pissed me off in this episode, and not to mention nothing really was funny. Even the star trek parts got a little dull at times. Anyways this was just horrible to watch, dont watch it. Hopefully Family Guy will bounce back.

Episodes like these make me wonder if they're just running out of ideas and copying episodes from the past thinking that we forgot about it, guess what we don't have the memory of the 99 year old man. They did well with certain parts like the song (still reminds me of those sunny side of truth commercials) and that keeps it from the abysmal 1 or 3 I may have given it. The comedy is still there even though there are only three that are quote worthy. That raises it to that fair 6. Final thought: Just watch Not all dogs go to heaven, it's Brian "expressing" his beliefs.

Personally I loved this episode. I liked the idea plot and it was hilarious in the beginning when Stewie gets beaten up by another baby. It really shows that Stewie is still a baby when he plays with toys. I think this episode was the 2nd best episode of the season coming after Fox-y-Lady, which was my absolute favorite episode of the season. But about this episode, I really enjoyed when Stewie looks in the mirror and sees how big and strong he's gotten. It's funny to see how fat and jiggly Peter is and how strong Stewie is. Overall I give Stew-Roids a 9.6.

Episode Summary:
I always find myself surprised by the ways Seth MacFarlane and staff can keep coming up with ways to write new episode plots. But even more interesting is how they not only manage to integrate real celebrities into the plots, they also find ways to keep recurring characters and their stories relevant as well. For instance, I thought that Jillian had used up all of her story ideas when she and Brian broke up, but when Brian finds out that Jillian plans to get married and Brian is Not invited, Brian tries to convince himself that he's completely over her. But something happens that Brian does Not anticipate, he ends up spending a night of love with Lauren Conrad from "The Hills." Although she's pretty, Brian doesn't want to be in a relationship with anybody who's just famous for being 'famous.' But that's before Brian discovers that Lauren Conrad has an intellectual side, and only acts shallow because that's what the American populace expects of someone in her position. But when Brian realizes that Lauren is actually Smarter than He is, he begins to feel like the Jillian in the relationship and Brian realizes that he's Not over Jillian. So Brian goes for broke and makes one last attempt to win Jillian back. He utterly fails, of course; but at least Brian will always have the Internet memories of his romance with Lauren Conrad! The live-action celebrity jokes and Stewie Griffin's own sexual confusions are pretty funny to! As a "Family Guy" fan, I highly recommend this episode to other "Family Guy" fans looking to have a lot of laughs! :D Enough said, true believers! ;)

I thought this was a great "trilogy" episode with some hilarious spoofs. There were definitely the high moments (Stand By Me & The Shawshank Redeption) and it's low moment (Misery). I loved the cameos from the late Roy Scheider & Richard Dreyfuss. The running joke of Joe losing his legs has gotten old & they can put that to rest. There was some funny enchanges between Brian & Stewie in the Misery. I loved it when Stewie shot Joe. That was shocking and funny all in one. I think this was one of the best episodes of the season. I'm glad to see they left something in bag for the end of the season.

I gotta say the Lois/Stweie and Peter/Meg sex scenes were kind of uncomfortable but that's probably what they were going for. Do I really have to write 100 words? Here we go, one hundred words!

In yet another "Road to" episode, Brian and Stewie travel to... other universes! This episode is extremly imaginitive and funny with great universes and a cutback on the number of cutaways here, only 2. The universes here are great, with my favorites being the disney one, the one where dogs rule over humans, and the one where Meg is actually attractive (even though she's still unattractive there lol.) I also liked how close to their human counter-parts the dogs were in the dog world, and Brian being a human, but still ruled over, was funny, and him getting hit by a car was funny too. Overall, a really good episode, one of the best since it's revival by FOX. 10/10 A+

So I finally got around to watching this episode on imdb.com and found it to be- same old, same old. Just as offensive and random as it usually is, this Family Guy episode is fine. Expect I wouldn't have minded it so much if it just didn't seem like the controversy in the episode was being done, just to be done. Don’t get me wrong, Family Guy is doing a good run and is always good for a laugh, but I'm wondering and hoping they're not doing things just out of desperation for a story. I guess it truly annoys me because this episode comes right after the "Road to Multiverse" episode, being truly one of the show's greater episodes in a long time. Either way, this episode has its moments; one in particular featuring Jesus Christ and his thoughts on religions. I'll leave it at that.

This episode is one of the worst Family Guy episodes I've ever seen. It was very boring. I didn't laugh at all. I thought the main story with Brian and Stewie was mediocre. It would've been okay if they had done more with it, and made it more entertaining. I hated the B story, it was so stupid. Peter, Joe and Quagmire starting an improv group is not a good plot to begin with. There was nothing good about this plot. All they did was reuse Peter's terribly unfunny John Wayne act over and over. I found the joke of everyone else thinking it was hilarious pointless and irritating. Overall, I was bored to death throughout this entire episode, and I wanted it to end. I hope the next episode doesn't disappoint me.

This episode was just okay, there were some parts that I laughed hysterically, mostly on Peter's parts. The hing that annoyed me about this episode, was that I felt like they have done this before. Well they might have not, but it's the same formula every time. Brian gets a new girlfriend, the family don't approve, make fun of the girl, then they break up, get back together again, and eventually break up. This was the same thing, except it was an old woman. I like Peter's kicking obsession which got Brian in to this whole mess, and I also laughed really hard when Brian yelled at the old lady at the end of the episode. How he didn't understand what she was saying. Hilarious! An average episode.

Episode Summary:
I'm an absolute fan of Family Guy & I even was one of the people clammering to the show back on the air when it was cancelled. So I must say that I was terribly disappointed with The Seth & Alex's Almost live Comedy show.

They used the laugh track too much, things that weren't funny were getting a fake audience laugh repeatedly. There were alot of awkward pauses, & looks as if someone forgot their cue. Seth MacFarlane has a great voice & did not need to sing in his characters voices. There were brief shots of the audience which tells me they didn't find most of the show funny either. Marlee Matlin's appearance to get Alex back for making fun of her was funny, but went on for too long, thus losing some of the humor in it. With all the hype this show received I was expecting it to be much much better than it was.

Episode Summary:
I usually cannot stand this show. The humor makes me sick. As did some for this episode. But Quagmire's overall plot was pretty good. The end could have made this episode a very great one, but with this show there needs to be a joke every 5 seconds or else it just isn't "good." So, this episode is the first new one I think I have ever watched, and it was actually good, for the most part. The sub plot was also pretty good, not humor-wise, but plot-wise. The end of that was gross though.

So, 6.0, a fair grade for a pretty fair episode. Now I can't say I hate/dislike every/most episode of this show

Episode ID:
08x07 -- Season: 8, Episode: 7

Episode Summary:
Cleveland was always the weakest character whose main joke seemed to be a bath gag that grew old a long time ago. Jerome was actually more entertaining than he has been in a while and certainly more fun to watch than that new show they spun off.

Of all the people to give a lecture to Brian, Quagmire is perhaps the worse choice, for 8 seasons he has been the sex-obsessed pervert of the group and suddenly he's decided to lecture Brian on all of his faults along with lines like 'textbook liberal agenda' which are normally trotted out by those who lean all the way to the right. It just doesn't ring true, at any moment Brian could weigh in with any number of reasons why he doesn't like Quagmire, but he doesn't, he hasn't been judgmental enough to point out Quagmire's many faults. Are we meant to believe that suddenly Quagmire doesn't like Brian? Really are we, because that just comes out of the blue and is unbelieveable. I don't think Q comes out of the rant very well, he just looks like a judgmental idiot, who has suddenly decided he is the moral barometer, after years of being a pervert. It is a little like Seth is purposely saying look I'm really neutral and can rail against more lefty people as well as the right, when we all know Brian is how he really feels about the world.

Aside from those 2 minutes though this episode was alright, nothing special but then Family Guy only really gets a few decent episodes every season now.

This was differant and I'm glad that it was. Instead of Brian going after another human woman or ranting politics, he does something he had never done before. Fighting for animal rights. This was a strong plot Brian was more compassionate. The maid sublpot was a little weak but it was funny and so was the PETA joke from Peter. The killing of the animals was a little much and I laughed out loud at the big head cutaway. The ending was the best when everybody thought Brian was dead and they all came together. That was beautiful. Meg wasnt' abuse and everybody came together like a real family. Now this is the Family Guy I know and I hope we see more like this one.

Episode Summary:
Just like one reviewer put out, this indeed felt like one of the older episodes. It had the original family guy feel to it, unlike the newer ones where most jokes aren't relatable at all. If you really don't find this one funny, I suggest you watch the Cleveland Show, which is an epic fail show that tries hard to use the family guy structure. And you might actually find a significant difference, and start to appreciate the little comedy season 8 throws at us.

This episode was good as a whole, with a few stand out jokes. The African-American hearth monitor, Quagmire pulling out his scalp after his brownie experiment, Brian eating Lois' puke are some typical offensive and gross humor that accurately represents the shows roots. Of course, cameos by the Jim Parsons and John Galecki from Big Bang Theory and Hugh Laurie finally provide some short bursts of laughter.

Good episode.

Episode Summary:
This episode, like "Business Guy" before it, seems to be Seth's attempt to revisit the "Classic" Family Guy feel. Peter and Quagmire were acting more like they would have in earlier episodes, while we had a minimum of Stewie and Brian, not so many cut-away gags, and no really over-the-top offensive humor. The one incest joke made by Meg, and the family's reaction to it, seemed like a sly jab by Seth at the criticism he's received over his increasingly offensive sense of humor. On the whole, I'd say this was a solid piece of story-telling, that should appeal both to classic Family Guy fans and fans of the more current episodes (thanks for the brief nod to "Bird Is The Word"). Who says Seth doesn't at least try to make everyone happy?

I know that Family Guy is suppose to offened everybody in the name of comedy, and they do it very well, but I think that they went way too far in this episode. Their portrayal of a girl with downs syndrome as a nagging witch I found terribly offenseive. I went to school with people with downs syndrome, and they were very nice people. I ti s totally understandable why Sarah Pailin was offened since her baby has it. The only good part of this episode was Stewie's song and dace as he prepared Chris for his date. I give this episode a one, even if it deserves even less than that.

I actually thought this was one of the better episodes of the season, there were some legitimately funny jokes and bits during Stewie's plotline that I enjoyed, such as the fake argument that he has with himself and the joke about liking news with pictures in it. The cross dressing idea was pretty cliche, but it wasn't terrible. The second plot was much worse, it was ridiculously unfunny and pretty mean, the only funny part was when everyone in the Family Guy universe came to see Meg's normal boyfriend. Lois was terrible in this episode and Peter was just a jerk, even if he did it because he loved Lois so much, it wasn't funny at all. Overall it was a good episode, but definitely not great.

Wow, Family Guy, is that you? A funny episode that I actually enjoyed in 2010? Is that even possible?

It apparently as I laughed early and often at tonight's episode of Family Guy which featured just an all-around brilliant performance by Peter.

The opening scene will without question offend people, but for those who can laugh at things, it was awesome. Chris was right about this being late as no one has thought about Terri Schiavo in years, but that does not mean this was not simply genius. I was kind of curious where the storyline with Stewie and the kindergartener was going so I was surprised when they just abruptly ended that.

And I am sure some people were offended by Peter calling Ali Williams a bunch of different famous black people, but that was yet another brilliant sequence.

I loved this episode. I had no idea it was going to be this good.

Well, as a big fan of TV I liked the in-depth look at what goes into making a pilot and how network executives like to play around with shows before putting them on the air, but the other storyline, with Stewie having a cracked head was beyond dumb. What was the point of this? Why not just tell Peter and Lois what happened?

For the return of James Woods I think that they could have come up with something a little bit better than this (although I did like the one line where he asked for the lawyers when he slept with the underaged girl.)

After a good Family Guy last week, it's back to the usual suspects tonight.

I thought this episode was pretty good. It had a very interesting concept, yet there were some parts that were mediocre. I despised the opening act, it was highly predictable. I hated the scene where Brian had to "clean" Stewie's diaper, and I saw Stewie ruining their chance to get out of the vault from a mile away. The episode improved greatly at the second act though. I loved Stewie and Brian's conversation while they were drunk, and when Brian found out that we did earlier in the episode was caught on a security camera. The best part though, was Stewie and Brian's last conversation before the ending. It was heartwarming, and it was character development for the duo, which is something incredibly rare in this show. Despite the awful opening, this was a good special.

This episode was somewhat decent, but it's not a knockout or a classic by any standards. In this episode, Quagmire's dad comes to Quahog, and the guys assume that he's gay due to his mannerisms and actions. In the end, he becomes a woman and Brian has sex with him-her (uhh, yeah.) The main problems I have with this episode are three things: the way Peter and Lois treat Brian is just cruel, the throw-up scene was WAY too long no matter what the situation, and Quagmire beating up Brian: yeah we get it, Quagmire hates Brian, no need to make a long brutal fight scene over it. There were some good things about this episode, like the sex jokes at the naval party, and the way the family treated Ida was funny. Overall, decent but not amazing. 7.5/10

Jokes and the whole plot in all were done ok. Nice seeing Cleveland again and seeing where the overall plot takes them. The best part overall was seeing Cleveland stabbing Peter in the stomach with a pencil. Though it was real boring when Bonnie and Lois talking about how PAINFUL childbirth is when really no one but women would care(lol), though it was just to make sure they didn't realize they were heading out to Ol' Virgina. Though when they got to the source of all dirty jokes i wondered why they brought them there if they were going to keep them prisoner after they told them about the club. Overall a ok show.

Impressive episode! I honestly didn't expect Diane! The ending with Lois/Stewie/Diana was funny as hell! Stewie's final line was golden. Some lines were hit and miss, but overall it was an immaculate episode. The animation is great, and I just love a plot involving a murder mystery, and many characters together for whatever reason.I hope she is back, I guess it was good to have a shocking death, but she is one of my favorites. I was most scared that Bonnie and Diane were going to get killed, luckily one of them survived though. I also hope Brian and Jillian get back together, I liked Jillian! I didn't see the ending result coming at all, and I wonder if it'll be retconned or kept in-continuity for the rest of the series.

I also admire how the whole hour episode wasn't just random joke after random joke, that barley makes me chuckle. Diane was my favorite out of the Tom and Diane pair.

I don't wanna say "Quit while you're ahead" because I still wanna see "It's A Trap!". I know you can do better than this. Save your politics crap for American Dad, Ok? I'm sort of on Quagmire's side when it comes down to Brian episodes. Seeing how he is sort of an intellectual equal to Peter but too proud and pretentious to admit it, Stewie said it best when he wrote "Douche bag" on his grave marker.

Hey there's an idea, at some point and time kill him off. I'm sure that will shoot the ratings and appreciation for the show through the roof!

In short, Wasn't crazy about this one!

Episode Summary:
Do you remember seasons 1-4, when Family Guy was one of the best comedy shows? Do you remember season 5, when it was still good, but something was missing? Do you remember next seasons, when you still had hope? Forget it. This is the end, there will be no more "To love and die in Dixie", "Emission Impossible", "North By North Quahog". It is really hard for me to watch Carter worrying about his marriage, Lois and Peter saying that Carter and Barbs are perfect for each other (anyone remembers "Look at her, she's awful!"?). I agree with another user - I still have some hope for this show, but there is only one solution - go back to what FG used to be. When every character had its own climate, when jokes were so good, and so funny, when Quagmire was perverted Quagmire and Carter was Barbs-hating, prostitute loving Carter.

When cutaway gags were good.

Greetings and hope from Poland

Episode Summary:
For me, Family Guy isn't one of those shows that necessarily gets worse or better with age. The show sticks to its usual format, its usual level of randomness, and even with the plots change, the humor doesn't necessarily waver much.

Tonight's episode was pretty funny, if only because it gave us a mix of the random scenes that makes the show more unique and the exaggerated type of scenes that makes me love it so much. The plots are mostly irrelevant; the entire episode focuses on how each family member deals with Halloween. My personal favorite is when Quagmire is pranked by Peter and Joe. The way the pranks start off normal and become gradually intense until Peter finally flies all the way to Senegal to infect Quagmire with a disease that's never been discovered.

The episode had its dull moments.. I could care less about Meg making out with her brother and I thought the show worked much better when focusing on Peter, Stewie and Brian.

Overall, not a bad episode of the show.

Episode Summary:
A solid episode of Family Guy. A lot of people feel like Family Guy is losing its touch, which is true, though every once in a while it can pull in something like this. In fact this episode came out with fleshed out new jokes and gags and possibly the most entertaining fight scene as of yet. Peter's birthday party, Peter getting milked by Jackson, and Peter talking at the wrong side of the ring. On the other hand, Family Guy is notorious for being so out of character that we've gotten used to this over the seasons. It seems like every character here, especially Peter and his out of the blue sensitivity and affection for what Lois thinks, Family Guy felt really really out of character. That really affected the outcome of the episode despite the great laughs the episode was filled with.

Episode Summary:
Brian just really made me hate him even more in this episode. So in this episode, Brian is frustrated that his writing skills are terrible and when Stewie becomes his new manager and Brian writes another book, it's a best seller. The problems really begin when Brian's fame goes to his head and he treats everyone like they were scum. Brian even fires Stewie after he helped him become a better writer. Everything Brian does in this episode is just cruel and will make you lose any respect you had for him. Even at the end of the episode Brian doesn't really apologize to Stewie and he didn't seem to care that he hurt him. The jokes and cut aways weren't even that funny and it barely got a chuckle from me here and there. I liked Brian in the first 4 season, but ever since season 6, Brian has become a bigger jerk, he acts cold hearted to everyone, and even those that help Brian, he just treats them badly after he gets what he wants. I don't want to see another Brian and Stewie pair up for a long long time. This is further proof that Family Guy is tanking, and you're better off avoiding this episode.

As a huge fan of FG seasons 1-5 I really hate it since season 6, and s 8 and 9 are just... well, there's no word bad enough to describe it.

This episode gave me more laughs than usual episode of terrible season 9 - doctor Hartman was almost similar to dr Hartman we all know and love, Stewie was more of a Stewie (and finally no homosexual remarks) but...

Joke with Stewie's skeet hanging from his nose... it's hard for me to even call it a joke. What the hell is all the drama for? Peter is supposed to be Peter - retarded guy that is doing stupid things, not a man who cries and takes life seriously. And all the jokes... here in Poland we call that kind of jokes "suchary" - something that is supposed to be funny but it's not. I still believe someone from the staff will finally play some episodes of FG from seasons 1-5 and say to himself: "What a great show it WAS - let's go back!"

Episode Summary:
I've been watching Family Guy for quite some time now, and can safely say this show is going down. Big time. I honestly don't mind more offensive jokes. I mean, why else does anyone watch it? It's the perfect stress relief, taking out your frustration by laughing at handicapped children. But by downhill, I mean the storylines are crappy, and just plain boring, and the jokes are not even funny anymore or overstay their welcome. If your gonna be offensive, at least be FUNNY. It's like I can see Seth now, on his pile of thousand dollar bills with beady evil eyes, laughing.

This used to be a show I could connect with all sorts of people. But with episodes that go from sentimental and good-hearted, to twisted and vile in a week, it's bound to stress and divide viewers more than the stress they're easing. If Seth actually got off his pile of money and worked alongside his writers, we'd be seeing a whole new, improved Family Guy. Sadly, this will never happen, until Family Guy retires for good.

Honestly, this is just tiring. Don't get me wrong, I love family guy, but seriously, this is just getting old. A drunk peter episode, we already had an okay one like that with the kidney, but not only did they not even have a reasonable plot, they didn't have a side story either. This episode was half minded, and mediocre. I can pick ANY episode and it would have been ten times better. Don't get me started on the song that lasted five minutes... It didn't even have a point. I don't want to be hating, but Family Guy needs to pick this up.

Episode Summary:
I've been very hard on Family Guy this season. Hard, but honest. This episode was a refreshing breeze that reminded me of back in the good seasons. This weeks episode had a great amount of laughs like, Herbert's flashback to Auschwitz where he was forced to sort through the camp's recyclables with sticky hands! Ha! I roared. Another funny joke was Chris not knowing who to shoot when he had a choice. Or when Peter says he has to speak with mister "Poop-in-chest". Very good episode with an epic battle to the end and important messages brought to us by the church of jesus christ of latter day saints. ("Remember, she's not a whore if she's an actress")

Herbert's character has grown to be extremely annoying and.... not funny over the last few seasons. This episode was a fantastic way of using this guy and worked very well because they kept him within his range. Although I hope they don't over-use him again. He's a secondary character and is great when he's used once in a while within context.

Great job Seth and team. I want more episodes like this! Good jokes that worked WITH the plot. Funny situations, and using secondary/background characters like they should.

This episode is great if you are judging it based on season 7, 8, and 9 standards only, but if you are like me and are judging it on season 1, 2, and 3 standards instead, then it's only fair at best. Sure the episode had some genuine laughs, but it still fell flat and was a bit drawn out at times. The plot while decent, was not exactly brand new, and the Stewie centered plot was very predictable. The Hand That Rocks the Wheelchair was an alright episode, but is by no means a classic in any sense. f

Episode Summary:
Once again, we get an episode-long Family Guy experiment with sentimentality and conventional structure. The setup for the episode is that the kids and the parents both think the other side has it easy. So they switch for a week, hilarious complications ensue, and lessons are learned. Fortunately, Family Guy plays the sitcom structure straight, with minimal winking at the audience, which keeps the episode moving and relatively entertaining. Unfortunately, it's a little short on big laughs, Family Guy's biggest strength.

It does manage to keep a pleasant set of chuckles going. The Interminable Family Guy Anti-Humor Joke of the Week comes early and seems better than most, with Lois' dad renting a backhoe to destroy things Peter loves, and then trying and oh-so-slowly destroying a random sidewalk bench. I don't know that I can describe why I thought this one worked, but I'll try: It flows both naturally from the character of Lois' dad and from the situation, in which he has a new piece of machinery that he really wants to use for a dumb reason, but since he just got it, he can't. So it combined the usual absurd premise of random destruction with an emotional core: Using machinery for the first time is hard. From this, humor is derived. Or perhaps it was the brandy. Or perhaps residual goodwill from the excellent Bob's Burgers episode.

The straightforward way in which Family Guy played its silly little premise actually allowed for the show to make some small steps towards emotional connection. The eventual moral-life sucks, but family might make it worthwhile-surprisingly felt earned, if cliché. It also gave the kids more to do than just be punching bags for annoying jokes. Chris is given a decent episode where he's not just treated as a moron, and Meg isn't insulted every time she walks on the screen. I used to think some time back that it might be impossible for Family Guy to actually successfully use sentimentality, but this episode made me wonder if it may yet be possible. Whether that's a good thing remains to be seen. I prefer Family Guy to be shockingly funny, but too often, it only gets shocking instead of funny.

Episode Summary:
Tiegs for Two is another one of those Family Guy episodes that is really two different plots. The first is Peter fighting with the owner of a dry cleaners. The second is Brian and Quagmire struggling with their love lives.

The second was actually good though. The feud between Quagmire and Brian introduced last year was one of the better things during the AC (After Cancelation) era of Family Guy. Some humorous exchanges between the two, but of course they had to resort to the usual fight scene on this program.

What I did not like was the first half of the episode though. Racist jargon spitted by the dry cleaner and Peter to him, mocking Michael J. Fox (who has been stealing the show lately on The Good Wife) for no reason and just an all around bad plot there. The Street Fighter style fight between the two was kind of funny, but that was an embarrassing 15 minutes for me as a Fam Guy fan.

Episode Summary:
This episode is another Star Wars episode, basicly a recreation of "The Empire Strikes back". I already didn't exactly care for "Blue Harvest", mainly because I'm not a huge Star Wars fan, but this was even worse I thought. The main problem I thought was that were way too many pop culture spoofs or stupid moments to ruin the story. Ex, Peter pointing out that the Giant Chicken was Bobba Fett: stupid. Darth Vader going back to check on Luke after their battle: stupid again. I don't mind the jokes, but I want a story too, a good one at that, and with the Star Wars ones they've pretty much screwed over. But the thing that really pissed me off was the robot camel thing doing the knee thing like Peter did in "Wasted Talent." Really? You guys already repeated it in "FOX-y Lady" and this was horrible too. Overall, yet another missed opportunity from the Family Guy crew. 6.5/10 D

This episode was a very funny one.It was one of the funniest spoofs made by Family Guy and it is better than that very bad Three Kings. It was pretty awesome and pretty much one of the best episodes that were spoofing on Star Wars.I loved it when Peter told that they were heading in an Asteroid field and they were in that video game Asteroid.I loved it when they entered the Death Star and in the backround,a guy was putting his are around this other guy.I also loved it when a bunch of cartoon characters were at that big club.I loved this episode and it was sweet.
